Orlando will dedicate its second Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) marker, this one dedicated to the memory of Arthur Henry, a victim of a racial terror lynching incident in Orlando on Thanksgiving Day 1925. While underreported and largely forgotten, this story has now been researched and brought forward by a joint effort by EJI and the Orlando-based Alliance for Truth and Justice (ATJ). We invite the Orlando community to join us: to listen, to learn, and to reflect. This story will be shared over two days and two separate events.
