Arthur Henry Memorial Dedication Ceremony

Corey Grant

During a road trip in the fall of 2019 Corey stopped in Montgomery, Alabama to visit the Equal Justice Initiative. She was powerfully impacted by the museum and memorial.

Walking through the lynching memorial she encountered the duplicate steel monument that represents the lynching victims of Orange County, FL, her hometown county. She wondered what numerous “unknown” name placements meant exactly. Eventually she learned about the 1920 Ocoee Massacre.

Wanting to learn more and get involved, she signed up to EJI’s Community Remembrance Project (CRP) Interest Form and that connected her to Kristin, founder of ATJ.

Corey is a volunteer with ATJ offering her expertise in graphic design. She founded Green Vegan Media in 2011, a full-service graphic design studio.
